Reflexology helps to relax the body. Relaxation is good for all ailments and good for a person’s overall health. Research has shown the specific techniques of reflexology to be effective and beneficial in many ways. A survey of 170 reflexology studies from 21 countries shows that reflexology is effective, impacting a variety of physical and psychological concerns.
In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy giving and receiving a reflexology treatment. You will learn the energy points in the feet that correspond to the organs of the body and what areas you might want to focus on if you were trying to address a specific ailment or condition. Each person will have one hour of reflexology. The workshop is 2 hours with time for questions. Each person should either come with a partner and they will work on each others feet or if they do not have a partner we will find one for you.
Jan Jeremias is a certified Reflexologist and Yoga teacher and has been practicing and teaching at Naturally Yoga and at other yoga studios in Bergen County, NJ for over 9 years. She completed her reflexology certification at Bergen Community College and her yoga teacher training at Naturally Yoga in Glen Rock NJ. She practices Reflexology and teaches in Bergen County NJ.
