Join Angela for “Painting from the Inside Out” , a modality called “Process Painting” that is a beautiful tool for self-discovery, healing, and play!
The process will include: setting your personal intention, invitation to create and engage with the blank page, music ( drumming influencedby Asian, South Indian, Egyptian and other cultures) to support activating your flow, and guided direction to release blocks in all of your 7 chakra energy centers while sharing each chakra color and the characteristics of each life-force energy centers. Process painting is about the experience and less about the finished product. However, I have found that taking time to sit with your finished piece may allow for additional release and healing so we will do this also.
This workshop is for anyone who wishes to:Dive deeply into self-awareness in a creative way. Express what can’t be put into words. Develop greater self-acceptance… access emotions and thoughts we may have pushed down and kept hidden throughout our lives. Learn a new way to meditate through a deeper sense of inner focus. Awaken creative thinking and spontaneity. Play with your inner child

Angela's story:
Angela's passion for Process Painting came many years ago (before I could name it) when I got my first box of finger paints and dove into a freely creative, expressive state…and felt so good after my painting play! She was too young to know that it was this exact same state for creative expression that would emerge and trigger the deepest self understanding and acceptance and healing of my adult life. It is not an over-statement to say that taking her first Process Painting Class set her on path that has opened her up to self discovery and healing. In this way it has been life changing where She uses paint to access her Divine Creator Center. Since that day, She continued to take that journey inward by creating a small studio in her home. Angela's experience of the healing powers of art have led her to working privately with both children and adults. She soon began to take art classes at Ramapo College and as a result sherecently completed an “Art & Interaction” course that moved her out to using art with infusion patients. Additionally, Angela is a Certified Usui Reiki II Practitioner and studied Christian Zen Meditation with The Zen Garland Community and became a Christian Zen Practitioner in 2011.
