Vernal Equinox The Solar New Year: Renewal of Spirit

Equinox means equal night. Now the Sun wins over darkness, and Aries brings warmth, and lust for life and Winter to Spring. Seeds sprout, flowers bloom, and the sun warms Mother Earth with a sense of rejuvenation and renewal all around. While Winter was the time to conserve energy and surrender to the YIN energy, Spring is a time of regeneration, new beginnings, and a renewal of spirit. Nature at this time of year is at its heightened state of change, which means that it is an easier time to clear out old, cleanse out the impurities, by helping us prepare for a new beginnings. We will embrace this turning of Yin to Yang energy with balance and purity in day of sacredness and balance of our mind, body, and soul in day of renewal of the spirit. This day will be a day of rebirth and transformation through Sacred Song Study, Mala Making, Juice Cleanse, Kundalini Yoga, Outdoor Breathwalk, Sound Healing, and Meditation with Mala Blessing lead by Abhaijot Kaur, IKYTA and Jason Wood, EMT.

Tulsi- Tulsi means “ the incomparable one”. Tulsi is considered to be very pious, auspicious and divine. Maintains ritual purity and wards off evil. It is best for worshipping Lord Vishnu, Ram and Krishna. It gives peace of mind and reduces stress.

Rudraksha- Rudraksha itself symbolizes Lord Shiva. "Rudra" stands for Lord Shiva and "Aksha" for Shiva's tears. Rudrakshas are the original Vedic Beads of Power worn by the Gods, Yogis and Rishis since ancient times. Rudrakshas has been boldly mentioned in Vedic Puranas, and Upanishads as the most powerful aid to align self with supreme consciousness and for living fulfilled life.
